Home Care Assistance rigorously screens applicants to find the best, most reliable and caring caregivers available. When you meet them, you'll immediately feel at ease.

Careful Screening

We typically hire only one in 25 applicants. Caregivers must have experience working with older adults. We examine references and perform national criminal background checks. Finally, Home Care Assistance administers an exclusive caregiver screening exam developed by our on-staff Ph.D. psychologist. This test helps us check for honesty, kindness, and conscientiousness.

We also provide our caregivers with continuous education on the latest developments in older adult care, including:
