Betty White has once said, “I may be a senior but so what? I’m still hot.” The 91-year old actress and comedian has not “given up on life” nor has she had the need for home hospital care just yet. Betty has managed to remain one of the most fit (physically and mentally) and well-known older celebrities in Hollywood, and at 91 years young, has a television career that is still booming.

White is so popular that Madame Tussads has created a lifelike wax replica of the hilariously funny celebrity. Earlier this week, the replica made headlines as it traveled from the Hollywood location across the nation to Washington DC. The duplicate, which features White smiling in a hot pink track suit, will be on display through December of this year before it comes back home to Southern California. On the wax museum’s website, White jokes around saying, “I want to thank Madame Tussauds Hollywood for taking their sweet time in making my wax figure. Would it have killed them to do this 50 years ago before gravity took over?”

While the comedian jokes about aging, it would be hard to deny how wonderful she looks, and how active and independent she has remained going into her 90s. In fact, many of Betty’s habits match up with the beliefs we have here at Home Care Assistance. The active actress believes in regular exercise, a well-rounded diet and having the freedom to socialize. She also continues to meet new people, build and strengthen relationships and learn each day. And at Home Care Assistance of Albuquerque, it’s clear her outlook on life has proven true! She is not only aging gracefully, but is enjoying each day to the fullest.

As a preferred provider of home care in Albuquerque, the spirit, humor and light-hearted outlook of Betty White is an inspiration to us, and something we felt compelled to share with our senior clients and their loved ones.
